Hard Times In This Election

Well, First all I want to say I'm so sorry that I have fell off the blogging world. I'm still here just counting down the days until the election is OVER. All of you know that my mother is running to keep her job as Clerk of Superior Court. I have never seen a race that has been so nasty. I have not slept good in about a week. I don't understand why people who do not know my mother, how could they say such hurtful things. On top of that, say that she was working another job on county time. Please, my mother would never do something like that. Melica Kendrick is a good woman. God has put this job in her heart for some reason. I know that He knows she can do a great job. Please don't believe the negative things in the newspaper.

Please pray for mom and our family for the next week. Mom said this go around she has felt like she has been under a personal attack. I feel the same way, it just hurts me that people are treating my mother like this. Nov. 4th is a huge day for mom and all us. I just keep telling myself GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!!

Thanks to everyone who voted for my mom and will vote for her. On behalf of her, I know she thanks you too.

Peace Out,
Lacey

Lacey, I never believe any of that nasty stuff...it seems to always go sour around election time. Know that I think your mom is the sweetest lady. Your Mom will win or lose based on God's plan and that should be of some comfort to you. He is in control. Nothing happens that isn't sifted through His hands. I read something the other day about God being sovereign. It said that God does not react to what Satan does, then he would be Satan's pawn. Everything sifts through God's hands first. It's His will and purpose. He could change it, move it, or get rid of it, but He knows what will benefit us in ways we don't understand. I'm praying for you and all of your family in the days to come.
blessings to you,
Terri

Amen, to that Terri! I know first hand that your Mom is doing a great job...and I am not the only one. She is right when she says God doesn't like ugly. Your family has handled this election with grace and humility. That is the true test and you all passed with flying colors. It has been an example to this entire community. Keep your chin up.
Love you,
MB

I think your mom is awesome and I waited 2 hours to vote on Tuesday.

She and all of you have done a great job keeping your heads on straight.

I'll be glad when it's done with. I'm tired or hearing all the presidental back biting.

Hang in there!
